SCAD x Harbor Picture | Collaboration Project | SANM 560 - Week 01

This is the first week of Winter 2023 quarter.

During this week, what we mainly did is that we confirmed the brand that we are going to do for this Collaboration Project with Harbor Picture.

The Brand that we picked is a perfume brand which is called Alien Men for Mugler.

After several group discussions, we have find many reference for our project.

and based on these reference that we found, we have an idea about creating a commercial which is mainly baed on the camera movement and the studio lighting. Especially to capture the rim light and the reflection light of the perfume bottle.

Based on these ideas and references, I have made a rough draft of the storyboard that talks about what kind of vision we want to create:

And I have received many suggestions from Professor Bridget and Professor Fowler about this first draft. I then created a new version of the storyboard based on their feedback, which looks like this right now:
